We offer three types of membership for those close and far, those who want to be hands-on and involved or just want to show up every once in a while to see how this cooperative is growing:
Supporting Membership
By paying a fee you have access to our club activities with incentives for different programs, workshops and exhibitions.
Club activities are to continue in Vera’s tradition of having an “open atelier.” Come for coffee, rakija, Internet and stimulating conversations on a wide variety of topics.
Benefits of membership
- priority access to workshops and events (especially useful when space is limited)
- access to special member-only events such as tea ceremonies/tastings from the Wandering Art Tea Academy
- eligibility/ability to use the space available for your needs (certain conditions apply and for a fee)
Yearly membership 20 euors + 1 solidar*
*Solidar is a measurement of time and service, an alternative currency, to participate in our new Time Bank. More on the Time Bank and solidars here.

Cooperative Membership
The cooperative membership is designed for those who want to be involved at a deeper level with Živi Atelje DK. Besides the financial investment, members will also be expected to fulfill a work component as part of the cooperative. Artists will have access to our spaces to work in, be prioritized for exhibitions in our gallery, and will feature prominently in our publications. The cooperative is open to all who can commit energy, time, resources and vision to make it all happen.
Honorary Membership
An honorary membership is given by the rest of the cooperative members to individuals who have contributed in some way to deserve special recognition whether through their work or donation.
