Photos from our Šibenik / “Bez Granica: Žene ženama, razgovori uz keramiku i čaj event
To open the season, we are sharing pictures of our special trip to Šibenik with our No Borders: Integration of Art – Art of Integration program connecting glass, ceramics and tea with members of Živi Atelje DK, the Women to Women collective and people of Šibenik. Thanks to our friend and partner, Ida of Udruga “Svijet kvalitete” who connected us with her city and the people who made this trip enriching and unforgettable including Magdalena and Hrvoje of Kolektiv 4b and Azimut —an incredible space for exhibitions and concerts in the city’s old cistern. Thanks to all the people who participated in the workshop, sharing their time and stories as they learned about gong fu tea. Thanks to Jasenka Ramljak who gave us a guided tour of Šibenik, to Zlatka Rodin who introduced us to Faust Vrančić at a museum built about him and his inventions on the island of Prvić and to Dijana Kočica for the thoughtful souvenirs from her art gallery. A special thanks to Mihaela Delac and her team at Konoba Stara Makina. Some of us traveled down memory lane and were happy to be seeing old friends and introducing them to our team from Zagreb. The project, “Bez Granica: Žene ženama, razgovori uz keramiku, čaj i staklo (No Borders: Women to Women, conversation around ceramics, tea and glass” through the Clubture network program (CTHR) with donations from the Ministry of Culture, Foundation Kultura Nova, the City of Zagreb, and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development through their project Knowledge Hubs. Looking forward to working with our partners Udruga GRAK in Petrinja in July and Jug Udruga Atribut in Knin after the summer. Enjoy!
