Živi Atelje DK / No Borders 2018 Integration of Art – Art of integration
The Živi Atelje DK’s collaborative art project “No Borders Project Integration of Art – Art of integration” connects people for whom Croatia is home with people who want Croatia to be home. We invite you to the exhibition opening of this year’s edition of the No Borders art project on Monday, December 10, at 19h (7pm) at Ilica 110.
*(Bilingual message Croatian and English)
The No Borders Cooperative Art Project is a yearly project that started in 2015 in part as a reaction to the backlash of public opinion against refugees coming through Croatia. Misinformation in the media (including social media), fuels the atmosphere of fear and mistrust. The No Borders art project is meant to answer directly to this atmosphere of fear to create one of greater understanding between different people. The collaborative art project involves artists and refugees, and seeks to reexamine questions of identity, prejudice and borders between people, within ourselves and the world in which we live.
The workshop aims to enable participants to explore their own identity through cultural exchange and present their creative potential through the old photographic technique of cyanotype. It is one of the most creative photographic techniques which enables creative collaboration as well as mixing with other techniques. In that, this technique is deeply intimate and open at the same time.
Živi Atelje DK is organizing the art project as part of the larger No Borders program (http://ziviatelje.dk/en/projects-education/no-borders-program/). This year’s mentors are Miroslav Arbutina (master in old photographic techniques recently officially registered as part of the intangible heritage of the city of Sisak), Ali Arkady (Iraqi photographer with international acclaim) and Saša Kralj (Photography educator.)
We are thankful to our partner, the French embassy in Croatia (Ambassade de France en Croatie) for their cooperation and financial support for the realization of our fourth, now traditional, collaborative art workshop No Borders 2018, Integration of Art-Art of Integration. We also thank the city of Zagreb’s office of youth for financial support.

Živi Atelje DK / Bez Granica 2018 integracija umjetnosti – umjetnost integracije
Projekt umjetničke suradnje Živog Ateljea DK pod nazivom, “Bez Granica integracija umjetnosti – umjetnost integracije” povezuje ljude kojima je Hrvatska dom i one koji žele da im Hrvatska postane dom. Pozivamo vas na izložbu radova polaznika radionice “Bez Granica” u Živom Ateljeu DK (Ilica 110) u ponedjeljak, u ponedjeljak, 10. prosinca u 19 sati.
Cilj ove radionice je omogućiti polaznicima obogačivanje vlastitog identiteta kroz kulturnu razmjenu i vlastitih kreativnih mogućnosti kroz staru fotografsku tehniku – cijanotipiju.
Također i zahvaljujemo i gradu Zagrebu, uredu za mlade, za financijskoj podršku.
